PikUp Sports ("PikUp," "we," "us") helps people find and organize local pickup sports games. This policy explains what we collect, why, and your choices.

Information we collect

• Account info: your email address and the password you set (stored securely, never in plain text).
• Profile info you choose to add: display name, bio, home area, favorite sports, and photos.
• Location: when you allow it, we use your device location to show games and courts near you. You can use the app by searching an area instead. We do not track your location in the background.
• Content you create: games you host, RSVPs, messages, photos, reports, and friend connections.
• Basic device info needed to deliver notifications and keep the app working.

How we use your information

• To show you nearby games and courts.
• To let you host games, RSVP, add friends, and message other players.
• To send you notifications about games and messages you have opted into.
• To keep the community safe, including reviewing reports and enforcing our rules.

How we share information

• With other users, as needed for the app to work. For example, players in a game can see your display name and RSVP. Your email and exact home address are never shown to other users.
• With service providers that host our servers and deliver notifications, only as needed to run the app.
• If required by law, or to protect the safety of our users.
• We do not sell your personal information. We do not use it for third-party advertising.
